A House panel approved a defense bill early Thursday that would delay President Obama's new policy allowing gays to serve openly in the military and limit the commander in chief's authority on slashing the nation's nuclear arsenal.

Republican/teabaggers- Always standing in the way of change and progress. They lost on DADT. Gays and lesbians are going to be serving openly. They need to get over it! :eyes:

A gay person has just as much right to defend this country as does a non gay person. What are they thinking, that suddenly the military will become corrupted by allowing gays to openly serve?
