1. Wouldn't that be really hard to say?
Considering that those places where ss marriage was legal haven't had it long enough for people to want a divorce?

Although I did hear that in Canada there was a dilemma over this because the law was set up to handle same-sex marriage, nobody had revised the divorce laws and the couple wanting one couldn't get it.

4. It's only been legal in MA for about 18 months
Give it time. I'm sure the gays will eventually catch up with the straight folks. Sexual orientation has no connection to one's ability to make bad relationship decisions.

5. Don't know objective date, but subjectively speaking...
...as of this month my current same-sex marriage has outlasted my previous regular-style marriage by two years (previous was five). This one's a whole lot healthier, too.

6. Lemme put it this way . . .
.

Massachusetts -- the ONLY state in the country -- that grants marriage to same-sex couples, has the lowest divorce rate in the country. And, Massachusetts is a no-fault divorce state too.

The highest divorce rates in the entire county -- fault or no-fault divorces -- occur in the bible-belt! The highest domestic violence occurs in the bible belt. The highest out-of-wedlock teenage births occur in the bible-belt.

Shall I continue, because there's much, much more . . . as for same-sex marriage, why should THAT change the stats?
