Report: Banner Year For Gay Rights
http://www.365gay.com/Newscon05/12/121905yrRts.htm

A state-by-state examination shows that LGBT Americans scored major wins in 2005, despite several setbacks according to the nation's largest gay civil rights group.

"The road has potholes but equality is on the horizon," said Human Rights Campaign President Joe Solmonese as he unveiled the report, "Equality from State to State" on Monday in Washington.

More state anti-discrimination bills passed in 2005 than in any other year, the report shows.

It also highlights eleven bills passed in state legislatures that established or strengthened statewide anti-discrimination protections for the GLBT community.

sorry, but from where I'm sitting, it hasn't been the best year for our community

1. I don't think it will be a truly good year ...
... until George the Lesser is off the throne - for LGBTs or anyone who's not a corporate BushCo donor.
