Cincinnati- A lesbian who lost her job as a small-town school teacher after a classroom presentation about discrimination against homosexuals has won the right to sue the school board that sacked her.

U.S. District Judge John Holschuh last week rejected the London City School District's efforts to have the dispute thrown out of court.

Holschuh ruled there was evidence that Jimmie K. Beall's teaching contract was dropped because of her sexual orientation.

The decision means the dispute is headed for a civil-rights jury trial within the next year...
