1. In general, what I've expected.

We have many supporters, unfortunately it's the posts of a few minor dissenters that tend to speak the loudest, since we assume that anyone that ascribes to a liberal/progressive ideology would be supportive of our fight for equality.

2. Personally, I'm disappointed that the decision hasn't yet caused the downfall of our society
Pundits specifically promised us that activist judges and homosexual "marriage" (note the scare-quotes) would utterly destroy our nation.

Well? I'm waiting!

In the meantime, I'm delighted about the decision, though I can't speak to general the reaction here on DU. I wish that I had gay friends in California just so that I could be invited to a wedding there. Maybe I should crash Ellen's and Portia's party?

4. You're disappointed?
We've been staying up nights waiting for the "sex in the streets" portion of the downfall to begin. And frankly, I'm tired of waiting for it. ;)

6. Will there be agendas posted?
Because other than the typical things like grocery shopping, mowing the lawn and making nice with the SO's friends I can never remember what's on the GBLT agenda.

At the very least I'd like a copy of the time table. Maybe it is too early for "sex in the street" and "mandatory homosexuality". I mean, c'mon people, throw me a bone. I've got my stepkids' graduations and the beginning of summer guests to schedule around. I gotta know how this is supposed to go down. Or, are we all just playing it by ear and waiting for America to wake up one morning and all go crazy at once? I need to know if I should buy a video camera for some youtube videos. How's this supposed to play out? How long can I hold off before buying a camera?

9. Whew!
That's a relief. I knew there had to be a plan somewhere.

Aye, aye captain. I'll stand by and await orders. :patriot:

3. A collective lackluster sigh, basically what I expected.
Though it has emboldened some of the anti-gay bigots around here to spout their nonsense a bit louder for a few days.
