Toxic metals factor in most ADHD, juvenile delinquency, serial killers, v
iolent criminals,etc.

Cognitive and Behavioral Effects Linked to Toxic Metal Exposure and Resulting Metabolic Imbalances, including Learning Disabilities, ADD, Violent Prone and Sociopathic Behavior, Juvenile Delinquency, Criminality, and Mass Murder

Metals toxicity is common and causes leaky gut, poor essential mineral absorption, mineral and essential fatty acid imbalances, and enzymatic blockages that some call "food allergies". Some are more susceptible to such than others and are more affected. But these resulting deficiencies and imbalances are well documented to be the main cause of cognitive and behavioral problems including juvenile delinquency and criminality and violence and even mass murder. This has been documented in several large studies in schools, juvenile detention centers and prisons. Its also been well documented that nutrition changes and vitamin and mineral supplementation can reduce these problems significantly. But the earlier started the better it works as in kindergarten and elementary school.

Facts supported by peer-reviewed studies cited below:

1.In the last decade 50% of U.S. pregnancies resulted in birth defects, neurological conditions such as ADD, dyslexia, autism, schizophrenia, other learning disabilities; mood disorders, eczema,other developmental disorders; or chronically unhealthy children according to a recent report of the National Academy of Sciences. (1)

2. Peer-reviewed medical studies have documented that the majority of such conditions are caused by exposure to toxic substances, with the most common being the toxic metals: mercury, lead, arsenic, nickel, cadmium, copper, antimony, and aluminum. (2,4,8-12) Pesticide , organochlorine, organophosphate, dioxin, polyaromatic hydrocarbons(PAH), and PCB exposures are also common and can also cause such effects. (3)

3. Dental amalgam is the largest source of both inorganic and methyl mercury in most with several mercury amalgam fillings, and most with several fillings have mercury exposure levels 10 times that of the average person without amalgam. (14)

4. Much of the developmental effects of mercury (and other toxic metals) are due to prenatal and neonatal exposures damage to the developing endocrine (hormonal) system. (12,5)

5. Prenatal and neonatal toxic metal exposure as well as chronic exposures to mercury, lead, arsenic, cadmium, nickel, and aluminum have been documented in medical publications and medical texts to cause common and widespread neurological and psychological effects including depression, anxiety, obsessive compulsive disorders, social deficits, other mood disorders, schizophrenia, anorexia, cognitive impairments, ADHD, autism, seizures, etc. (9,11,13,2,4)

6. Exposure to toxic metals causes ADHD, dyslexia, autism, and other neurological and immune conditions as a result of their neurotoxicity, immunotoxicity, and endocrine disrupting effects, as well as by causing deficiencies and imbalances in essential minerals and essential fatty acids; blocking essential enzymatic processes such as those necessary for digestion and processing of milk casein, wheat gluten, amino acids, vitamin B-6 and B-12; and causing “leaky gut” and poor nutrient absorption(2,4,8-13). These enzymatic blockages and metabolic disorders prevent processing of necessary minerals and nutrients and result in neurotoxic metabolites in the blood. (2,4)

7. Metals toxicity and metabolic imbalances are major factors in behavioral disorders and problems of children- including violence, sociopathic behavior, juvenile delinquency, and criminality (2,5,6,13)


8. A hair element analysis of 28 recent mass murderers or serial killers found that all had patterns of metals toxicity and mineral imbalances typical of violent prone/sociopathic behavior (6,13).

9. Metals detoxification and nutritional treatment that deals with the essential mineral and essential fatty acid imbalances result in significant improvements in most of these conditions, including violent and sociopathic behavior. (2,4,5,7,10-13)

10. Common exposures in children have been documented for mercury(vaccines, mother’s amalgam fillings, dental work, fish), lead(paint,soil,water fixtures,etc.), arsenic(treated wood, pesticides, shellfish, other foods,Scotchguard), aluminum(pans, processed food, medicines), cadmium(shellfish, paint, piping), antimony(cosmetics), manganese(soy milk, welding, metal works) (2,4,6,10)
Toxic levels of such have been found in the majority of Pervasive Developmental Disorder(PDD) children tested. (2,4,10,11,13)

I've got my problems, but I am not a defect and have done extraordinarily well in this life and will continue to do so because of my desire to succeed and be a functional part of society.

condition of some sort as those listed. My papers referenced have source for the percentage of most of the conditions and its easy
to find stats on such by search. Off the top of my head they are something like

ADHD,autism,dyslexia,similar close to 20%
mood and anxiety disorders, Schizoprenia, bipolar, etc. close to 20%
eczema 10%
asthma 15%
diabetes/glucose disfunction significant percent
bronchitis and other alleric conditions over 15%
cystic fibrosis, cerebral palsy, etc. not insignificant- don't remember stats
cleff palate, other such physical deformaties considerable
other developmental conditions signif. %

6. And how about the likelyhood that all people have too much metal
in them one way or another. Is there any control group of regular people without problems that show they don't have metals?

10. There have been lots of studies, including with control groups, on causes
of the conditions listed.

Mercury is the most common extremely toxic substance most people get significant exposure to, and the mechanisms by
which mercury causes all of these conditions are documented in the medical literature.
But there are prenatal exposures to lots of toxics, as those who follow the news know, and as tests on the kids
with such conditions have shown- common high exposures to lead, arsenic, cadmium, aluminum, antimony, nickel, tin,
pesticides, phytalates, PCBs, dioxins, etc. The sources of these and effects are summarized in some of the
papers(URLs) I've listed. (I'm a researcher (for a state agency about 30 years and non-profit patients support org for 10 yrs)

The fact that all of these conditions are commonly caused by prenatal and neonatal exposures to these toxics is well documented
in the medical literature, and that the majority are due to such also. (see the URLs I posted)
Most things people think are diseases are actually symptoms- the "disease" is identified by the symptoms seen.
But there are any number of toxic exposures documented to cause the symptoms by autoimmunity, neurotoxicity, immunotoxicity,
endocrine disruption, etc.

And these days there are lots of good tests to identify the cause, source of the problem-
and its known that most kids affected recover after dealing with the cause

even from conditions most consider incurable- such as cystic fibrosis, autism, etc.

I interact with clinics all over the world testing and treating such and have lots of info on

there is a difference in saying a condition is genetically caused and that a person has a genetic predisposition.
As I've shown on other posts, people do have genetic predispositions to be affected by toxic exposures more than others-
that is well documented in the medical literature; those with such have significant effects at much lower levels of toxic exposures than those who do not have susceptibility factors: www.home.earthlink.net/~berniew1/suscept.html

But just because a person has a genetic predispostion or susceptibility to neurological conditions or cancer or etc. doesn't mean that they will get the condition, which they won't get if they avoid toxic exposures known to cause such.


Common susceptibility factors:
Inability to excrete and detox toxics (metallothionein, APOE, CPOX, etc. )
immune reactivity to toxic substances (www.melisa.org)
depressed immune system from other toxic exposures and synergistic effects

nutrition is documented to make a large difference in susceptability to toxics
zinc antagonizes mercury, copper, etc. and has major role in many necessary enzymatic functions and brain function
(low zinc leads to major neurological and other effects from toxic metals)

selenium offsets the toxic effects of mercury, etc. and has major role in detox of metals- so selenium deficiency promotes toxic metal effects- but too much selenium is toxic;

magnesium antagonizes toxic metal effects and has major roles in enzymatic functions and cardiovascular system- magnesium deficiency
causes significant neurological and cardiovascular problems;

lithium is an essential mineral that is strongly related to neurological function and violent irrational behavior;
lithium deficiency is common and is documented to be a major factor in ones proneness to agressive, violent behavior.

17. Yeah, WE ALL have too much metal exposure. That is my point.
So it is not just kids with problems that have exposure to toxins. Seems unlikely that the metals alone are the root of the problems. Now, higher levels, I can see being a suspect. But as you alluded to, if there are any toxins around, levels will be higher in kids. They have smaller mass. Simple math there.

It's like kids of alcoholics or abusers; some end up with the same problems, some turn out fine despite the bad home environment and gene combo. Seems likely other things are going on and one theory does not explain all.

One of my pet theories to ponder is what influence all the deluge of radio signals in our environment now may have on the human nervous system. And do we really know that ultra sound on a fetus does not set up conditions which could make certain problems more likely to manifest?

Humans are affected by so much, it just seems all things connected have to be considered. Like nutrients: you can take a vitamin E capsule and it may do some good. But take it with selenium and it does so much better for you. Conditions are connected.

If we all have toxic metal exposure, it may be a contributing factor to some problems, but seems like it is not the sole factor. The whole environment modern man has created seems full of perils and contrary to what is good for us.

radio signals(RF)and microwaves and EMF are documented to cause adverse effects, though I only have info on the EMF part

EMF from such as computer terminals(if you don't have a flat screen) is documented to be a cause of significant health harm and conditions, but much of this effect may be due to the fact that it causes higher releases of mercury from amalgam fillings.
The effects are well documented, the fact that EMF causes currents in dental metal(or any metal) is documented
Its not documented the extent to which the release of highly toxic mercury from fillings is the main or only effect of EMF
since the EMF studies that documened adverse effects didn't control for whether those in the study had dental amalgams.

And as my papers document, toxic effects are cummulative, additive, and often synergistic. But some of the toxic metals like mercury, lead, arsenic, cadmium, etc. can have major effects at very low levels of exposure for those most susceptible, and its been documented that millions are significantly affected.

My research background is environmental externalities in general, and broadly since they all can have major effects-
but in recent years I've focused more on mercury since its the biggest common exposure of an extremely toxic substance
and I was disabled by mercury toxicity(now recovered after detox) and was asked to be a coordinator in working with lots of
people nationwide affected by mercury(and other toxic) toxicity effects.
Since its clear so many are affected and many aren't aware of the cause of their problems or of clinics that are usually successful at treating such chronic conditions, I've spent a lot of my spare time doing more reserch on such and interacting with clinics that have a lot of experience at testing and treating such conditions.

13. cadmium like many toxic metals is in coal(coal plants) and emissions
but also in galvanized pipe(water wells,etc.) and lots of cadmium, mercury, etc. come from sewer outfalls-
sewer plants don't/can't take out toxics; metals like cadmium and nickel are also commonly in food from growing on
soils with high levels or from food processing.

But the top 3 toxics affecting people according to EPA and US. Dept of Health(ATSDR) are
mercury, lead, and arsenic.

and of these mercury is the most toxic and has extremely low safety levels: 2 parts per billion in water; note EPA scientist admit current levels are not low enough to protect the public health because current mercury levels are so high they are causing high levels in fish all over the country and world- (dental amalgam is the largest source of mercury in most people and in virtually all sewers- and major source in water bodies, fish, atmosphere, etc. (hg in sludge is methylated by soil bacteria and outgases from landfills and land spreads plus crematoriums are a major source of emissions(from fillings).

7. I really need to submit the mercury test that I got from Greenpeace, cept
I keep forgetting!

I have food "intolerances" and went through a few years of hell before I figured out what the problem was. I still have bad days if I slip up and eat too much wheat or dairy.

If you do tests to find your exposures and toxic effects, the food intolerance generally disappear.

you can show me that heavy metal exposure of this type has NOT occured in those who are NOT ADHD, autistic, violent, etc.

We ALL get exposed to this stuff.

Also its clear from your statement that you have a big misunderstanding about how toxic exposures affect people.
Not all are affected the same by the same toxic exposure- as has been well documented in the medical literature.
There are susceptibility factors that are the main factors determining who and to what extent one is affected.

Toxics have both neurological and immunotoxic and immune reactive effects, and though exposure level is important, its only one factor.

Significant percentages of people are immune reactive to toxic metals such as mercury, nickel, palladium, etc.

But not everyone is immune reactive to mercury or etc.

But immune reactivity is not the only susceptibility factor that determines who and how much

14. Well, I actually do know a bit about toxicology, having studied
it as part of veterinary pathology years ago.

Ability to post links does not necessarily make one an expert, and at any rate I think you missed my point.

Violent people have evidence of exposure to heavy metals, therefore exposure to heavy metals caused their violence. That, in essence, is what you are claiming. And that sort of thinking is fallacious.

In the late 1970’s, Dr. Walsh and co-workers developed a biochemical classification system for behavior disorders based on trace-metal concentrations. Based on chemical analysis data from hundreds of violent criminals and behavior-disordered children, behavior disorders were divided into four distinct types.

Type A individuals are characterized by an elevated copper/zinc ratio, along with elevated lead and cadmium and low sodium and potassium levels. They exhibit episodic rages which may be quite violent, and usually exhibit remorse after they have calmed down. Patrick Sherrill who killed 17 co-workers in an Oklahoma post office was found to have a severe Type A imbalance. Many school children who are Type A individuals may have mild, moderate, or severe versions of this chemical imbalance.

Type B individuals are characterized by low copper/zinc ratios, along with elevated sodium, potassium, lead and cadmium. Most exhibit behavior disorders by age 2, and are often described as oppositional, defiant, pathological liars, remorseless, and cruel. The incidence of the Type B imbalance appears to be less than 0.5% in the general population, but between 20-75% in maximum-security prisons in Illinois, California, and Ohio. In studies of ex-convicts and violent children, Dr. Pfeiffer found these individuals to exhibit elevated blood histamine, low blood spermine, elevated kryptopyrroles in urine, and zinc deficiency. Notable examples of persons with a severe Type B imbalance include James Huberty (McDonalds massacre), serial killer Henry Lee Lucas, and Charles Manson.

, HRI’s forensic studies on almost 30 mass murderers, serial killers and death row inmates have shown these individuals to have extreme examples of these imbalances. If you think so, say specifically what you think I said that is mistaken or not documented in the medical literature.
What we are discussing is not a matter of opinion and is completely documented in the medical literature.

If you are suggesting that toxic exposures of a given levels affect all animals or people in like manner and to like extent,
that is wrong, as the documentation I've supplied shows.

Its well documented in the medical literature that susceptibility factors are at least as important as dose in determining
what type of effects and the level of effects from toxic exposures.

Those who are immune reactive often go into anaphalatic shock with extremely low exposures- such as from walking into a dental office- whereas others just start to feel a bit bad, and others don't even notice an effect.
