anyone heard of Oscon?

Used for Osgood schlatters and sievers?

My lucky kid grew out of seivers and promptly got OS within a year or so. He's still growing so fast.

We're doing PT and exercises and the band and ibuprofen and ice, etc . . . but he's very active and sometimes the pain is just too much.

1. It's a vitamin supplement.

I know DU is all about the magical healing properties of vitamin E, but as you already know OS is not related to vitamin deficiency. I recall the misery of OS from my days playing tennis in school and I know you want to do something, but time is really the only cure.

but there are people on another board singing it's praises - about how much it helped their kids and all. . . that I thought I'd ask here to see if any DU'ers had any experience with it.

The "prescription" his doctor wrote was about ice, and ibuprofen, using a band, and "finish growing". He's just 11 and has a whole lot of growing left to do. They estimate another 10-12 inches. He has heavily very muscled legs - putting a strain on that ligament. The stretching has seemed to help some, too.

It's just hard to watch your kid in pain, you know?
