5. My grandmother had a whole set of Fiestaware from that era.
We used to eat meals at family gatherings from those - including plenty of orange pieces - regularly. Glad to read on there that the radiation is unlikely to cause much harm!

6. I've seen 1 gram dropped into a bathtub on TV,
Hand grenade in a bathtub is an apposite description. 2lb = roughly 900 gm. 2 oz HE for a grenade is my guestimate. So if that's correct 2 lb of Cesium would be about the equivalent 100lb of High Explosive.
