What I I got for Christmas was...
two Bamboo cutting boards! And a nice stock pot!

(okay, one cutting board and the stock pot was from "santa" me to me, but the other cutting board was from my MIL). At any rate, no silly underwear - I got me some cutting boards!

(which I guess means I'll be slicing in my birthday suit - oh, well.... as long as I keep the knife high I'll be fine) :)

2. I got a beautiful handmade ceramic platter-- it's HUGE....

I have to get a big plate easel or something for it, because it's both too beautiful and too big to store in my cabinets. It's glazed in a dark red flame pattern, and it's food safe. This was a completely unexpected gift from some friends who also made Christmas dinner!

3. I got a KitchenAid mixer!
I had my daughter's mixer held hostage for a while but she wanted it back. DH/Santa couldn't stand seeing the tears in my eyes when I released it.
