Home made Irish Cream recipie...
I make this in gallons every year, and I have people begging me for a 'refill' year after year. I don't usually give out the recipe, but I figure I haven't made it for any of you, yet, so why not share something that is good??

In a blender add the following: (If you don't have a blender a big bowl and a mixer will work too.)

3 eggs
1 1/2 tablespoons of chocolate syrup
1/4 teaspoon of coconut extract
1 can sweetened condensed milk
1 cup of heavy cream
1 1/2 cups of whiskey (I buy Canadian mist or VO)

Blend for 2 minutes, pour into bottles or jars. Must be refrigerated.

I have no idea how long it lasts, since it doesn't last long in our house! We put it in our morning coffee or over ice. We have even made Mudslides with it. I am so used to the rich taste of mine, that I can't stand the taste of the real 'Bailey's'

Enjoy DU

KitchenWitch suggested I post this here, I started it in the lounge, sorry, I didn't know about this group! Please forgive me! :hi:

4. I've made it
without the whiskey and it still tastes good, a little thicker, so you could add a little milk to it.

11. Hi Lugnut!
and thank you for the welcome! I have a ton of old recipes from my grandmother and great grandmother. One of these days I should put some of them up. They are old fashioned, stick to your ribs type stuff. :hi:
