This is new to me. I'm skeered! They have the menu divided up btwn the two cuisines, as well as a vegan menu. I'm not paying, so it should be interesting.

:hi:

1. It should be very similar to Vietnamese food.
In which case, you are in for a serious treat. You'll love it.

2. People in that part of the world are dedicated foodies
Just find out which dishes are spicy if you don't like chile peppers and you should be just fine.

I can't imagine getting a bad dinner from any Indochinese restaurant, although some are better than others.

3. Elephant Walk??????
I've only had the French food once back when it was a new restaurant in Union Square but the Cambodian food is GREAT.

5. There's an amazing Cambodian restaurant here in Vancouver
The place is always packed, so we go for lunch at about 3pm.

My favorite dish: Lemon Pepper Squid.

Very lightly breaded and deep fried, sprinkled with deep fried garlic, served with a tangy lemon pepper dipping sauce. Not just to die for, but to kill someone else for.

Have fun, fear nothing.
