I know there's no recovery from this, but I wanted to share.

Has that happened to anyone else here?

I RARELY write DRAFTS, but this was an important message ending an engagement with a client and I clicked on "send" (what I'm used to pushing) rather than "save"

Whoops!

I reminds me of a time when I was trying to sell my mother's house and after 6 months with one agent, switched to another agent.

When it came time to fax the new agent some signed papers, however, my fax program still had the old agent under "real estate agent" in the phone book and... whoops again!

Why does that happen when it's IMPORTANT?

1. What email program do you use.
T'bird has a very nice "confirm send" extension I use, that nips that sort of thing in the bud.

2. Good tip. I just don't need it 99% of the time, so I wouldn't want to...
I use TBird too. I just configured my toolbar buttons wrong.

I put "Send" on the left of the toolbar (it's what I do most of the time) but my mind got confused because I associate "Save" with the File Menu, which is always on the left. I've since changed my toolbar.

It's good to know about that extension, however, I only wish Tbird extensions were as easy to install as Firefox.
