I am having a problem with the new Ad-Aware version, is it me ?

I cannot figure out what to do with the results. If I un-install the new version(done on 1/18)and do a system restore, will the old one be there? How can I find out what it was and re-install it--or is that a foolish thing to do?

latest def file in zip format must be unzipped in proper folder since update
for older versions is not supported.

caution: system restore probably will not help, unless the original Adaware folders are still intact. Also see a similar tread downstream from a week ago.
