What to type in address bar in IE to see javascript errors?
I've forgotten what one types in the address bar to see the javascript errors that occurred on a page in IE. It's just been to damn long since I used IE and I've forgotten.

And forget about googling IE and Javascript Error together! :7

Thanks!

1. i think this might work ...

try typing (in the address bar) "javascript" followed immediately by a colon ...

i believe that invokes the javascript console that should display any javascript errors on the page ...

btw, you might want to "clear" the console of errors before you start debugging ... also, the console allows you to enter any javascript clause and have it evaluated for syntax errors ...

hope this helps ...

2. You don't
Not in IE. It's done through a menu setting: Tools --> Internet Options --> Advanced --> Display a notification about every script error.

Good luck getting anything useful out of its error messages. If you're using it for script debugging, better to go with Firefox or Opera.
