OK I need help from someone, anyone!!

Since I installed new Yahoo software, I can no longer open links or images on DU, as well as links in my personal emails. I get a message that the task manager is busy, and to change task. Everytime I try, my PC freezes up. I can't use spell check or the smilies table either. I had SBC Yahoo, and had a dial up connection problem, so they sent me new softwear for Windows 2000 pro. Since AT&T took over SBC, I have been having problems. Too tired to get any further into it tonight and I'm headed to bed, but I will check in tommorrow. Thanks DC PS,... do you think if I downloaded the new softwear, and reloaded it , would do any good? I know I got "sucked into" trying free trial of "AdsubtractPRO" when I already had ad aware 6.0. As you can probably tell. I'm not the brightest bulb in the chandelier when it comes to PC Tech problems!!!

It was the additional softwear "AdsubtractPRO" that was screwing up my computer. I deleted it, and now things are back to normal. Thanks anyhow!!! DC
