holy smokes! This is a GREAT browser! The selection of "widgets" certainly rivals the extensions and addons of Firefox, the browser favors opening new tabs instead of new windows, which keeps the screen uncluttered, and the format is incredibly easy to read, vitally important to a blind old bat like me who's recovering from eye surgery.

Wow.

I've not been a fan of Opera over the years, but Opera 9 impresses me. Mostly, it is amazingly fast at rendering, noticeably faster than Firefox. (And it makes IE look like DOOM 3 running on a 486 machine.) It also renders several things more correctly than Firefox does.

I'm still not a big fan of the layout, and some of the imbedded features are a tad annoying to my senses, but that's just personal preference. Font management is also not my liking. I only discovered one issue in that it was unable to handle the "TOP" link on DU threads. That's probably more of a problem in the HTML than the browser, but it is a tad annoying.

I'll be using it more in the future.
