I visit this site daily, at least once and sometimes more. It gives
me both pleasure and heartbreak. These precious little O8) are so sweet! Their stories are so sad. :-( I have two Pomeranians and a yorkie, so I can't adopt one of these little sweethearts. Just wanted to share this site with everyone :www.unitedyorkierescue.org if anyone here is looking for a yorkie to adopt.

1. I know what you mean....
I have 2 shih tzu's and a miniature schnauzer. They range in age from 4.5 to 6 years old and have plenty of years left but I've decided that after I lose them I won't be getting puppies anymore, but I will adopt from these types of rescues. I'll probably focus on the older dogs since I'm told they are the hardest to adopt out.

I enjoyed looking at these dogs. Maybe one day........

4. My one friend has seven
What would you call that? A waggle of Yorkies? A Yorkshire of Yorkies? A gang? A posse?

5. Terrific site
I wish everyone would consider as their first choice adoption - there are so many little guys out there who need good homes.

(I have two Poms as well - they rule the roost, so to speak).

6. it is always good to know there are places like this
There are so many animals out there that are abused. Many aren't lucky enough to find homes. Many end up in shelters and are euthanized. Only the lucky few, like those you are sharing with us here are fortunate enough to ever find homes.

While I've never personally owned a Yorkie, I've always admired this breed of dog. :)
