DU was the first place I ever posted an anonymous comment on the internet. I had been coming here and reading for some time and finally got myself psyched up and registered (and later donated) and then began. I recall being terrified that someone would jump all over me as I had seen so may other poor people's posts attacked.
But I got a few welcomes and I began to feel a little more confident. My reasons for coming to DU were to be able to read different points of view, and to practice my writing. I am an organic farmer and I am home at my farm most nights. I don't really go out much, except to check on the animals in the moonlight. I try to spy on the resident fox who lives here now as well. That is it for my night time life. That and all of you on DU.
I had this idea that I would write something really thought provoking and interesting for my last numbered post, but I am tired. A wonderfully kind and very careful shearer came and clipped the wool from all 85 adult sheep which is much easier on me than the shearer or the sheep, but I am still exhausted. The wool is all skirted and sorted, the sheep are all back in their lush pastures and I am resting up here in front of my computer. Not energetic enough to post anything of substance.
Just a thanks to all of the kind posters out there who make up a part of my life by sharing your thoughts, hopes, prayers, insights, worries, enthusiasm and knowledge.
Nymbara,
Tumbulu
