(Insert your name for this holiday here) greetings to my fellow Moon-bats!
We have a very real mix of folks on here, and lest I offend anyone, I figure I'll ask you to fill in the blank!

May you all find joy and peace in this season, and may you continue to find it in the upcoming year.

We have a wonderful community here and every one (no matter how infrequently you post!) adds much to the spirit of this forum. I celebrate you all, my fellow moon-bats (as some have called us!)

I do love you all.

2. I didn't know we are "Woo-Woos!"
Oh that is JUST too cool! I associate "Woo-Woo" with what gets said when some really pretty / handsome "young thang" strolls by!

I am cool with being called a "Woo-Woo" in any context--especially during this season of joy.

Brightest Blessings on you and yours, DemEx!

Wishing you all a deep peace in the tired and lonely places of your heart ...small and great joys that fill your lives to bubble over and lift all of us, too.

May the new year bring our deepest hearts desires and healing into our lives and into our world as well.

Love you guys, too...even though I don't get much time to post lately....you're in my heart...

Blessings & joy everyone :hug::grouphug:

9. I went to a family funeral yesterday.
My aunt passed away last Friday (she'd been in a hospice and had suffered a great deal for far too long.) I don't want to sound odd, but her passing really was a release from pain, and for that I am grateful.

She was 80 years old and loved to tap dance. The minister talked about that, and talked about his expectation that she is probably tap dancing again now that she is free from pain. While that image might make some folks smile, it really WAS dead on.

Other than the sadness of her passing, it has been a good holiday.

We spent Christmas Eve and Christmas day at my parents and it really did a lot to help my Dad cope. He's had a bad year. Three heart attacks and the loss of two siblings in four months has been pretty difficult for us all and for him especially.

My 8 year old daughter was a huge boost to everyone's spirits because she is a happy kid who exudes joy in all she does. There is not a day that passes that I do not tell her what a gift and a joy she is to so many people. She was delighted with her gifts and kept us all smiling.

I'm actually gonna head into my office for a while today, I think.

Brightest Blessings to you all.

Laura
