Does anyone have an interpretation of a red cloud dream?

I had a dream this morning that I was sitting with my mother, who passed away, on the couch. we were looking at pictures in a book. She pointed at a picture of a big, thick red, kind of mountain shaped cloud just hanging in the day sky. I said, oh you always liked red clouds but I never liked then that much.

We never had any conversations of clouds when she was alive. I know there's some type sailor saying about a red sky or something but I don't know what it is or if it would have anything to do with the dream.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.:)

Meaning that if the clouds and sky are red at sunset, it promises fair weather for the next day. But, if the clouds and sky are red in the morning, there's a storm on the horizon.

Clouds in a dream can mean the spirit, or protection, or something that covers something else. Red usually refers to raw energy, passion, feelings, etc. Some people associate red with republicans. The words together, Red Cloud, have an Indian feeling, or bring to mind the name of a place, like Red Cloud, Nebraska.
But since the dream is about your mother, and she has passed, maybe it is simply a real conversation the two of you had. Looking at a book, and her showing you an oddly-shaped red cloud. It sounds as if she were trying to describe where she is and what she is doing, but that it was too cloudy and dense. And, significantly, you said that you didn't like red clouds much, but that she did like them.
iow, maybe some difficulty in connecting.

And you seem to be saying also that there is a difference between you and your mom in terms of preferences...

This could be a psychic dream in which your mom is trying to tell you something, or a dream that is more about something cooking in your unconscious. Perhaps you are having some difference of opinon with a female in your life right now.

Now as far as "red clouds", I've just been immersed in reading web sites about an impending comet striking the earth.

Apparently, a comet could appear sometime in the next year or two. It will come very close to the earth, but it won't hit. It will explode upon hitting the earth's atmosphere. Large fragments will come flying towards earth and strike the mediterranean area, causing huge upheavals.

Apparently, the comet fragments are made of some type of red rock. Upon impact, they will create red clouds of debris which will cover the earth.

Now, the reason why this is so interesting, is because I've read accounts of Red Clouds in other prophecies. Many religious people have warned of a time when there will be "poisonous red clouds covering the earth, killing billions".

Now when you mention "a big, thick red, kind of mountain shaped cloud just hanging in the sky", that sounds almost exactly like Nostradamus' "great mountain, 7 stadia wide".

Seven stadia equals 4247 feet, however, “seven” here simply means great many stadia or great many feet wide. Anyway, a comet with a great circumference of several miles will fall into the earth. The words “spread “ and “sink “ indicates that this comet will land in the sea, Mediterranean or Atlantic, wiping out many coastal areas and many nations. And you see later in one quatrain which indicates that Greece shall cease to exist due to great flood. The ancient landscapes might be Egyptian pyramids. The chronological order was actually written in reverse. First will be flooding, famine, then war, peace, and finally comet or asteroid striking the earth. After WW III ends around 2026 AD, an asteroid or comet shall arrive colliding with the earth.

cloud, which I understand were quite red and orange from people who had witnessed them both on the island of Bikini and in Nevada.
