Full Moon in Sagittarius - Sunday, June 11, 2006
Edited on Sat Jun-10-06 10:51 PM by I Have A Dream
It's my understanding that we have a Full Moon on Sunday June 11th at 2:03pm EDT. The Moon is in Sagittarius, the counter-point to the Gemini New Moon that occurred a couple of weeks ago. Additionally, the Sun is in Gemini.

INSPIRATION. Traditionally the full Moon of Gemini/Sagittarius is celebrated as the festival of goodwill for humanity, a moment in the lunar year to enter more fully into the importance of our role as a member of the larger consciousness of humanity. Our souls are jointly singing humanity’s story at this moment. Listen to that collective chorus. Hear the sounds and words of our histories, our hopes, our plans, our visions, our legends, our myths, our languages, our beliefs and our most deeply held truths. This is a special time to observe the realities and facts we can perceive if we but focus our Gemini intelligence. Let us also invite the Sagittarian spiritual truths and intuitive knowledge that can inspire our minds, for it is through mind that we think ourselves and our world into experience.

This new millennial verse of the song of humanity is being written now and we are writing it. What beautiful words are stirring in your mind? What harmonies are enchanting your voice? When we are only focusing our vision through the lens of the small egoic mind our song may be timid, sad and dissonant. When we are attuned to hearing the angels sing, to heeding the swelling symphony of nature, to feeling the murmurs of the collective heart of humanity then the song soars, infused with joy, beauty and limitless potential. Let us listen now with our higher Sagittarius minds to that inner essence which is all around us and within us. Then will we begin to find our Gemini voice that can speak what we truly know and wish to be known for, the voice of hope.

At this Full Moon humanity is awakening in the dream of current reality to the grand possibilities of this 21st century and this changing of ages. Over the last decade despite the continuing tragedies in world events the ongoing transit of Pluto in Sagittarius has been stimulating the overarching meaning of this current 500 year cycle begun in the 1890’s as Pluto and Neptune conjoined in Gemini. This long cycle is one in which humanity is learning the true and powerful meaning of using our Gemini intelligence for its spiritual purpose which is to channel the higher mind of Sagittarius through the newly disciplined holding of intentions. Thus each Gemini/Sagittarius Full Moon is a special time to attune one’s awareness to what you are intending for yourself and the world. As we move ever closer to the completion of Pluto’s transit through Sagittarius the ability to integrate this inner guidance becomes more available and powerful.

Notice where you are being drawn to discussion groups, humanitarian groups, and spiritual groups. It is here your mind and understanding is being activated and expanded. This is also the time when more and more of humanity is feeling the call to know their purpose and to imagine how they might actualize this new purpose, awareness and its accompanying work in the world. It is time to be in-spirit, to trust inspiration.

1. I always was drawn to the moon...

I don't know why. I love looking at the moon, I love the soft light it casts and embraces the plants and trees at night, and I feel the plants long for it, too. It gives me peace.

When I was really really small, a couple, my father's friend, was babysitting me, and many years later he told me, at night he had to take me up to the roof of the building - because I demanded to see the moon. He said I would not go to sleep until I saw the moon. He said, at first, neither his wife or he understood what I meant "montto montto".
It was Mond (in German)

So I appreciate, and only recently started to learn more...

Funny, though - for many cultures the moon is said to have female attributes- for me it feels more like an uncle :)

Thanks, Dream

on edit: I will now go and see if he's visible - we have a lot of coastal clouds these days - June gloom
