A request for prayers, light, healing, and positive energy, please.

It's not for me, but for another DUer. Maybe I should not post this, because I do not want to say specifically who the DUer is, mostly because I don't have specific permission from him to do that. This person is very dear to me, and is having an especially bad time of it right now.

I do what I can, and he has told me I have been a great help to him, because of the support and care I give to him. I'm afraid it may not be enough, though. Not because he's going to do anything bad to himself; I don't get that sense at all. Rather. it's because he's in one of those places that so many of us have found ourselves in -- a deep, dark place that we may not be able to get out of solely on our own power. Sometimes, we need the love, guidance, help, and support of others.

Again, I know that it may be difficult, because I won't say who it is. But if you find it in your heart to do so, please send out good vibes, white light, prayers, whatever you usually do, for this good, good man. He's in a place where it's hard to put one foot in front of the other, and he could use a loving boost.

Just reading it daily helped me enormously through one of my worst times.

...I hope that he can find some some peace in knowing that these dark times we go through are preludes to finding joy. As so many of us have discussed, dark times can be the time for great change. I always try my best to keep this in mind when I am facing those eras in my life and it helps me to get through. It still means I might shake my fist at the Universe and ask, "why, why, why?" but every single time I have been through one of those times and used it as a catalyst for change, I come out a little bit stronger, a great deal wiser, and a whole lot happier. And when I come out of it without much change, even then I am happier and wiser. I hope he finds that peace soon.

I agree; the dark times ARE preludes to finding joy. And I know he knows this too; it's difficult to remember that when in the midst of the darkness, as you know. Hopefully, though, the prayers offered here will help him start seeing some light. :hug:
