With the Sun quincunx Mars on January 15, the week starts with events that cause you to re-evaluate the course you're on. As you're making necessary adjustments, Venus opposes Mars on January 19, and you're pushed to establish a better balance between your worldly activities and your family life. Then, the Sun enters unconventional Aquarius on January 20, and a new path opens up.

January 15: Sun quincunx Mars

It's time to re-evaluate the course you're on. Get a compass, look for true north and make some smart decisions that will help you get back on track. While you're busy reorienting yourself, watch out for a tendency to get fired-up by challenging people or events. Be smart and sidestep troublemakers, and then simply continue on your merry way!

January 19: Venus opposite Mars

As Mars turns direct later this month, Venus opposes Mars, giving you a chance to see who -- or what -- isn't moving. These are relationship planets, and right now they are coming from two significantly different positions. Yet, although they are on opposite sides of the fence, they are looking at each other. With these planets in the career/family signs, it may be time to get a better sense about where the middle ground is. This aspect is all about finding balance.

January 20: Sun enters Aquarius

The sign of the Water Bearer, although sometimes mistaken for a water sign, is actually an air sign, which is all about ideas, ideas, ideas. Nothing is more Aquarian than revolutionary concepts.
