Alright ASAHers - Has this past few days been just meh for anyone else?
Or is it just me?

I am finding myself impatient with stuff that normally do not faze me, my emotions are all over the map, and it is NOT hormonal.

I know, breathe, center myself, get myself to a better emotional space...etc.

1. ditto, Kitch
I can't read the posts in most of the other DU forums this week. It's all the same stuff, over and over, and nothing ever gets better.

I feel like I'm part of the crowd scene in a very bad, very dull horror movie that doesn't have an ending (let alone a hero Or heroine). Every time I blink, Bushco craps on us again like an incontinent, evil parakeet.

It looks like the media/corporations are busy fixing it so John Edwards won't have a prayer of winning the nomination.

I've been trying to visualize peace within...

3. "Meh," is definitely how I would describe it. Emotionally diffuse, despite frustration with
the lack of structure in my life. Lately, it's felt like I'm trying to make a cake with a list of ingredients, but no recipe.

4. Same here.
I find myself reading or hearing stuff that hits me badly, and I get really angry.

And then I get overwhelmed.

Breathe.........

5. Everything seems stalled
And I can't write my articles that are due (SOON!) for shit.

So okay, what's causing it? Anybody got any guesses? And, even more important, when will it END!

7. It's more than likely Mars retro and Pluto in Sagittarius fatigue.
We're in the home stretch now but inertia is everywhere.

Still can't believe that a comet might hit Mars on the day of its station perhaps just to punctuate it's forward direction.

Here is a hopeful archived radio show and is well worth streaming IMHO.

Truly hope it cheers some of you guys up.

9. The Saturn retro isn't doing us any favors in the mood department, either.

12. Here's what Mikey says
"Saturn in Virgo

makes sure you remember

your diet, your responsibilities, your health

makes sure you don't give yourself away completely

Saturn in Virgo

stands like a nun at a high school dance

passing between the dancers with a 12 inch ruler in her hands

making sure people don't get too close

making sure they leave room for the Holy Ghost

the face of inevitable change

not good change or bad change

but HUGE change, enforced change

the kind you sort of get pushed into

on the one hand

and are dying for on the other

WHAT DOES YOURS LOOK LIKE?"

And LiberalEsto needs to print up some t-shirts for these two great lines..hehe:

I feel like I'm part of the crowd scene in a very bad, very dull horror movie that doesn't have an ending (let alone a hero Or heroine). Every time I blink, Bushco craps on us again like an incontinent, evil parakeet.

When I think of Saturn/Virgo and Pluto/Capricorn I think of Martha Stewart on steroids. Here are some gems from her.

"I catnap now and then, but I think while I nap, so it's not a waste of time".

"Life is too complicated not to be orderly."

"You know, in China they say, 'The thinner the chopsticks, the higher the social status.' Of course, I got the thinnest I could find.....that's why people hate me."

Wonder what her astro-chart looks like!

As for me, I haven't felt horrible, albeit a bit overwhelmed with what I need to do to organize and de-clutter some areas of my life. And all the while Mars either wants to giddyup so it's hard to get focused or I'm just wanting to rest. I've been trying to balance those two by giving each its due, rather than being like Martha and trying to do both at once.

18. Thanks for posting that! I think I'm picking up more on her Virgo stuff
And it seems transiting Saturn is heading for her 10th Hs. Venus in Virgo....ouch. How much more popularity can she afford to lose? Maybe her show will get cancelled or something.

And her Leo Sun/Chiron/Pluto are square her Ascendent, and Mars is square Jupiter which possibly makes for the hautiness and bossiness. Some karmic lessons there.

8. Completely the opposite - so up I'm feeling a little freaky about it
The past few days for me have been glowing. Like a fire burning, in a really good, warm way, but with the potential for getting out of control. Things are just hectic enough, exciting enough, lots of change, but in a good way, now, and I've been feeling great about it. But there's just that slight little undercurrent of anxiety, as if I were surfing or skiing and, dang, what if I fall? Or worse, maybe it's going to get bigger, faster, accelerate from here. Which I think it is. I woke up this morning and the first thing I said to the Hubs was "I have to find a way to manage my anxiety about all this." I feel like some kind of addict...cocaine, adrenaline...things are really heating up for me right now in a way that feels fabulous, but I can see the potential for it to become complely overwhelming.

My plan is to enjoy, revel in, the current glow. And breathe when the time comes.

10. The past few days? How about weeks/months?
Yes, suddenly I am drawn to noticing and taking personally too many things. I'm adjusting my own thinking to keep me more centered but it isn't easy...at all.
