Request for impressions.
I have an acquaintance named Miriam who lives in Baltimore and is currently trying to conceive her first child after two miscarriages in 2007. I am hoping a couple of people here can "tap into" this situation and post what they get. She says she's feeling positive about the future, but I think she's also feeling a tad frustrated about the false starts.

1. No impressions to offer, but my heart goes out to her
So heart-breaking, what she's going through. I wish her all good luck. Just keep trying, my recommendation.

2. I've a dear friend who is a Doctor of Oriental Medicine
and he's successfully helped people with fertility issues. I was prone to miscarry and he treated me when I was pregnant with my son. I never sought out western allopathic treatment. I hope she knows that it's best to stay on the prenatal vitamins until the child would have been born after a miscarriage as they level off the hormonal roller coaster that often ensues.

My elder sister conceived her second child in her 40's by having homeopathic treatment prior to conception.

3. Yeah, yeah. Miriam is actually getting good mainstream care as well as
utilizing helpful alternatives (plus, she's a "proactive patient"). Let's just say that financial restrictions aren't a factor here.

4. I'm tapping into
acid/alkaline balance. She could drink green drinks (barley, wheat grass, etc.). It's just an issue of the womb which is preventing a healthy fertilization.

I recently read about a treatment that has cured all instances of infertility in the people who used it. I'm so sorry I can't think of what it was just now.

This is not to be construed as medical advice or diagnosis.

5. So, do you mean that she needs to
put her acid/alkaline levels in balance?

6. Yes.
Green drinks are just one option. Lemons are good also.

Now I'm also wondering if her doctor thinks it's a good idea to conceive so soon after miscarriages? If what I'm picking up is correct, she needs to enhance/balance the climate of her uterus. I also think there are genetic issues which affect miscarriages. My mother had two or three. Her doctor said he thought she was aborting males. She has three daughters. One of my sisters had two. She and her husband went to a genetic specialist because they were also mid age. I had one miscarriage, but I'm not very fertile. So, I've been pregnant twice with one birth. 50%. My sister has one child. And now that I'm writing this, I guess my mother had about 50% birth rate also.

Does she eat meat? White flour?

7. Okey dokey. Here are her stats:

Firstly, she's 37, and concerned that she's waited too long to figure out she wanted kids. It's been four months since her last m/c, and my impression has been that she really wants to "get a move on" WRT this motherhood thing. She has Aries on the ascendant, which could be a factor (impatience). She did indicate that there was some kind of genetic issue involved in the last miscarriage and her first one appears to have been at least partially caused by a septate uterus, which she had corrected via surgery last summer.
