Light for my sister, please.....
Her live-in boyfriend, who has been hemming and hawing about putting her name on the deed of the house that she pays half the mortgage for, and where she works from home, just broke up with her. She has nowhere to go, all her family is several states away, but she can't leave because she shares custody of her daughter in that state. She's beside herself and I am too!

Are you OK with prayer? (I don't want to do anything that you wouldn't want.)

2. She might need a lawyer.
At least she should know where she stands legally and most lawyers will do an initial consultation for free. I will certainly send her light.

5. Hope she will see a lawyer...
...but right now she's pretty incoherent with grief. She dated this guy for like six years, they broke up, they both married other people, both got divorced, then HE came crawling back to HER all apologetic and stuff. That was about five years ago now....not long enough to be common law, I guess, but I hope she'll some kind of restitution!

6. She should see a lawyer.
Even if she has no legal right to the domicile, she may be able to put the fear in him so he ponies up something. What a creep. Of course, she is better off without him, and she will be OK.
