Strange dream....

About a month ago, after the latest outrage, I called my dem congress critter... and asked... is this enough for impeachment?

I got the usual platitudes, I am sure you all have heard them.

So I calmly told the staffer that come November both my hubby and I would NOT be voting for her, but whoever the Greens run.

Yes... the Constitution matters to me

So last night I had a very strange dream

We all went and voted.. and there were many other millions of voters across the nation who were shocked to learn their conscience elected the largest third party majority to the US House and Senate in the history of the US, oh since the 1880s, last time that happened. It was kind off... what do you mean both Dems and GOPers have lost their seats to the Greens? What do you mean next speaker will NOT be from either party? What was more, with the aide of the Black and Progressive caucus they HAD a veto proof majority.

So the party decides to have town halls to find out what happened, and to a man and woman they are told... remember the Constitution? Part of this dream including the impeachment, conviction and subsequent turning over of the usual suspects for war crimes... and did I mention Obama won the nod but due to their veto proof they basically reduced the executive to the weakest point since oh Wilson?

They proceeded to do all the things we the people want.

Single payer health care
Essentially nationalize the energy industry
Pass election reform allowing for proportional representation, opening the system to third parties

And so on...

I know it is just a dream... but did I just tap into some kind of energies out there? And is this just one possible future?

Time for a revolution, except it will be quiet one: via voting.

Just browsed the titles of threads on the Greatest Page and didn't open a one. I like your dream best of any of them. What a thoroughly difficult, arduous, mind-numbingly frightening time we are living through.

but the dream was way too weird... even for me
