I have a job interview on Friday, as my friend Betsy, who I mentioned in another post, is moving to another Boeing plant. She didn't get one of the Boeing jobs, but is still in the running for two more. But the good news is, she gets to move to another location, which will cut down a bit on her commute time.

She told her boss about me, and I talked to him on Tuesday. Scheduled an interview for Betsy's spot, and I think I have a good chance for the job. My pay will increase a lot over what it's been over the past couple of years, and the bennies will be good. Plus, the location of the job is very close to where I live. I've worked from home for a number of years, but the work is very thin right now, so getting this job would be a boon to me.

I feel good about it, and if you would, please add your good thoughts and prayers that I get this job, if it is in my highest good.

My interview is at 1:30 pm Pacific time on Friday.

Was interviewed by two people, and turns out I know one of them! Woohoo!

It was about an hour long, and overall, I was very relaxed. Now I have to complete and submit an application (left copies of my resume with them), which I'll do tomorrow, so it will be waiting for them on Tuesday, after the holiday.

Keep those fingers and toes crossed for me, folks, as I really want this job.

But, I can still (and am) sending positive vibes to your interviewers that they decide in your favor. Like another poster here, BTW, I have good feelings about your interview.

Please keep us posted. I sure do know what it is like to job hunt. It is much harder than working at a very demanding job!

I have a job right now, but I don't have much work, so I'm not making much money. The job I interviewed for is full time, and pays well, so that would definitely help me. Plus it's interesting work, and uses all my skills.
