no dream at all...woke up at 3am
again, and couldn't fall back to sleep. x(

(just thought I'd mention it, with all the wierd dreams posted today, lol )

I did end up with a daymare, tho. I got online to entertain myself while not sleeping. I kept thinking I heard the well pump kick on, but every time I'd jump up and go listen, it would stop. Finally, I shut down the peecee and sat downstairs waiting. Well pump went off again. :wtf:

So I headed into my favorite place (not) -- the antique basement full of spider webs and creepy things. Where I discovered my hot water tank chose last night to die and was creating little river running out the back wall (advantage of antique fieldstone foundation, lol).

Craps. I tried to turn off the water into it -- no go; the valve is shot. :grrr:

So I started looking for a not too far plumber with 24 hour service. Found one on the 3rd try and he nicely guided me to my circuit breaker box to shut off the wellpump ( :dunce: boy was I embarrassed ) and sent someone this morning to cap it off so I have cold water today.

Good news: they're fixing it tomorrow.

Bad news: I had enough money to last until school starts in September and/or until I get my place sold. There goes August. :(
