Does anyone know of an astrologer in the Durham-Raleigh area of NC? I'm ready to
invest in a good reading. There was a very good one in Durham until a few months ago--but he moved to California. I waited too long to consult him. I have a weird-looking chart, and non-professionals don't seem to know what to make of it.

1. There are several right here who do Phone readings
Their charges are reasonable as well. Just a thought.

2. Do I just e-mail my chart to them? Also, my understanding is that to do an

3. Maybe just ask in this thread if any of our astrologers would be able to read for you
and if so ask them just to Private Message you with their rates etc. They will run your chart with your birth information for you.

Do you want them to PM you if they're available? If so just say so in this thread, I'll bet they'll see it.

4. Most astrologers just need your data (month, day, year, time, & place of birth)

and will cast your chart on their own software.

We all have preferences for various graphics.

As for it being a lot of work, it used to be when it took hours and logarithmic tables to calculate the charts. I'd much prefer to see the process as a lot of fun. :) Sometimes it's more effortless than others depending on the synastry involved.

We all have different styles for preparation in terms of meditation, or checking in with the akashic record, but some of us have been at it for so long that we can tune in fairly quickly.

I can't imagine why you think your chart is weird looking. Any chart is as vast as a life and we're all riddled with contradictions for sure.

I'm quite sure your's is more intriguing than weird.

on edit- DICLAIMER: I'm biased though as I'm kind of fond of weird. Most astro heads are.

5. Yes, any astrologers who could interpret my chart, please PM me. Here's why I think it's
a weird-looking chart:

There's such a "weighting" on one side, with almost half of it empty. Seems weird to me!

8. You have a what is considered to be a bowl configuration.
That is vaguely defined as a chart having most of the planetary placements on one side of the chart.

That is not that weird or unusual.

The traditional schtick on it is when the planets are on the left side of the chart, one has far greater opportunity to influence circumstances through their free will than someone who has a preponderance of planets on the right side.

However, this is modified in your case with a slew of Scorpio placements especially in the twelfth house. So there are some intense karmic influences but not without the deep wisdom to transcend and transform them.

As for the empty houses, I'll share with you my favorite story about those.

I read for a wild woman who was an American but who used to teach aerobics on Parisian television. She was an absolute riot. When I explained to her that the houses governed various arenas of life and barring any severe challenges to the ruler of the sign on the cusp, there would be few chronic or continual challenges in those particular arenas of life. Temporary ones might occur due to transit but they would be fleeting.

She said quite succinctly, "So those houses are pretty much at peace." I said, "You've got it."

I'm not taking an in depth look right now 'cause I'm kind of tired but your Jupiter/Uranus conjunction is one of my absolute favorites.

Please don't disparage your chart as weird. We all court a bit of weirdness from time to time. You've got depth which is far more interesting IMHO.

best

13. It's totally okay.
Not weird at all. But it is a funny mixture.

Riddled with karma, and intuitive depth, coupled with a freedom to transcend all of that.

Blessings upon you.

9. Oh, heck. That's not weird in and of itself.
I have two sons, and one has a chart that looks a lot like that, with practically everything on one side. the other has a chart that has practically everything on the OTHER side of the chart. Now, THAT'S weird.

a great location to one farther out of town. I'll definately check on them.
