Health woo-ism can be like a cult. (That's how Rasputin got so much power over Alexandra and the Russian royal family!)

And the all-theories-are-equal arguments - possibly all theories are equal at the outset, but they are not all equally supported by the evidence. Someone there asked me, "As for the credible evidence (for mercury in vaccines causing autism), do you have any that indicates that this is not accurate? A person given to rationality would at least seek it. Have you done this?" Well, YES; I mean that's part of my JOB after all!
