Synergistic musings.
So I was resting at home after my weekly boiled yak drool enema cleansing ritual, sipping an iced colloidal silver tea and jamming out to Zamfir, when I was overcome with The Presence. You see, I have lurked about the halls of DU, remaining in the shadows as a being of my stature must do to avoid unpleasant encounters, unaware that in the midst of such gathering would be a cadre of like minded sentinels such as yourselves, my dear friends. You can imagine the loneliness that pervades the life of an immortal. I remembered a discussion I had with Voltaire. Contrary to popular belief, he was a quite jovial man, a practical joker of the highest calibre, and exceedingly popular with the ladies. He posited that Fate often binds people to one another across the centuries and lifetimes. My friends, we are all immortal, but only a few of use have scraped the steel teeth of death from our corporeal bodies. My awakened state tells me that we have gathered here to awaken mankind (and women, too). Imagine the fortuity to have such a group of luminaries gathered here on DU: Joan of Arc, Charlemange, Prester John, Comte St Germain, Cleopatra, Hiawatha, Thomas (he was a grave digger during the plague, not sure how he found us), Lenin, Lennon, and Linen.

My friends, may our Coven bring enlightenment, harmony, and usher in the Dawning of the Higher Man!!!1!!

Back to the waffles.

2. I think it's time for an intervention
You obviously have an addiction problem with your waffles. What exactly do you cook into said waffles? :)

Seriously - your posts are funny as hell in the sardonic, dripping with sarcasm way you present them. What's sad is that I think you could post this in other (unmentionable) forums here at DU and the poor deluded dears would eat it up like you were the second coming of the woo-master.

3. thanks!
I consider woo-baiting a sport. I convinced an old roommate that eating a carrot-only diet for 2 weeks would cleanse his colon (he was always concerned with the state of his colon). At the end of the 2 weeks (and about 50 lbs of carrots later), I kid you not, he was distinctly orange... his skin, his teeth, and his eyes.

I got another person to give me her very fancy stainless steel microwave when I convinced her that the molecular vibrations of microwaved food would disrupt the digestion process.

Dude, if I had just a little less scruples, I'd be livin' like a hitman!
