Any Chosen Few vets here?
I read about this after seeing an actual license plate a few years ago. I'm curious to see if there is still any living... I want to salute those that are still alive for Memorial Day.

My Dad was a POW (captured on Corrigedor in 1942) and he meets some at POW COnvention, He is Boise rigt now for the State POW convention and talks about the Chosin Few each time he comes back.

3. I've met a couple
in the retirement community where I live.
I think you'll find that should actually be the "Chosin Few" though.
For those that don't know, the "Chosin Few" are survivors of the Thanksgiving battle at the Chosin Reservoir or "Frozen Chosin", in North Korea, by the First Marine Division and their withdrawal, under fire, carrying their dead and wounded with them. If I remember right the fifties movie "Retreat Hell' was about their epic battle.

6. I have two uncles who are Korean War vets, but were not at Chosin
Twenty years ago I did have a salmon boat skipper that was a "member". At that time he was dying of liver disease, and did not have much time left.
