Lake County (Florida) Sheriff's deputies were called in to stop a large fight in the Lake Kathryn subdivision near Paisley Sunday afternoon.
At about 3:45 p.m., authorities received a call notifying them of a large fight involving about 50 to 75 bikers, LCSO Sgt. John Herrell said. By the time deputies arrived on scene, many of the group had left.
A group of bikers involved in the fight tried to make it to Volusia County, but deputies stopped them.
One victim received significant but non-life threatening injuries, Herrell said. Aggravated assault charges are being considered.
Investigation of the incident is ongoing.

The above story appears to be kind of bland. The unwritten part of the melee should read that two rival groups or gangs of Viet Nam Veterans had a brawl in the country. Since we don't have access to a spokesperson, an inference could be developed, that two biker gangs had a territory spat. No biggie.
The bright side of the story. it is good to hear about this age group, the Boomers who still have some spunk in them. My informant did not tell me if any biker ladies were involved.
Weather wise, lately we have had excellent Riding weather, cool in the morning and in the seventies and up by midday. Cooling after sunset.
The Lake Kathryn area is where the severe Tornado hit awhile back.
