OGDEN, Utah — An air show at Hill Air Force Base has been canceled because the Thunderbirds demonstration team couldn’t perform.

Event planners say the Thunderbirds had a scheduling conflict. Since the first air show at the base in 1956, the Thunderbirds have made 21 appearances in Utah.

Business officials who were paying for the air show said that show wouldn’t draw as many people as they had hoped for without the Thunderbirds.
