SURVIVOR IS ON!!
The Outdoor Life Network purchased the rights to the first ten seasons of Survivor from CBS and Mark Brunett. They start airing the first season on July 24. the plan to to air each episode 3 times each day, once at 12:00 noon, again at 7:00 pm and again at 11:00 pm.

The network plans to air each of the seasons in order. After the ten seasons are completed, they plan to repackage the show into themes, like Survivor Best speeches (Sue Hawk-snakes and rats anyone), Survivor Best Fights (Alicia shaking a finger at Kimmie) and Survivor Best Babes (probst, get the girls some peanut butter). I think repackaging can be fun. I'd love to hear some of the robfather's best lines played after watching richard's first season interviews and Brian's bragging about how great he was.

I'll be watching.

7. Thanks for the head's up
I ran across your post last week and we have been watching ever since. It's more fun to rewatch them than I thought it would be. We were noticing the difference in the players from the first season and the past few.

Again, thanks for the head's up. We're looking forward to this week's episodes - the final shows of the first season.

8. have you noticed the different music?
the music played during challenges sounds so cheesy! Makes me think of a porno or something. I never noticed it back then when the first season originally aired. :P

9. I taped the whole first season
after the third episode. I have not watched it in a few years. I will check the original tapes to listen to the music. There were so many strange little things taht were different. Probst was very uncomfortable in front of the camera the first season.

10. and his questions weren't so vicious
He goes for the jugular more on questions these days than he did back then.

We also noticed the bikinis were more modest, and the people were more "normal" - looked like people at the grocery store. They have more buff, good-looking people.

11. Yeah
They had a limited pool for the first season. LEs wanna be actors and actresses. More eye candy now, which sucks. Sue Hawk would never make it today, and she gave maybe the best speach in reality TV history.
