a SFRC meeting on Afghanistan starting at 9:30 per CSPAN home page. Maybe he perfected that cloning that some of you were talking about a while back after all.

Speaking of Bali first - saying the discussion with the Chinese delegation unlike in any past conference and a sense of urgency.

Says that coal combustion one of the biggest contributors - and it will not go away becasue it is abundant in US and China. they are building 1 plant a week. MIT recommended that we do carbon capture and sequestation.

On CSPAN3, in a good conference room - he looks great

Speaking of bill he has with Stevens to set up some demo projects. Never done in US on scale contemplated. Need to guarantee that the storage is permanent - as it is naturally buoyant so will be in deep saline storage. Monitoring to insure it is permanently stored. Need early warning system. Leakage could lead to health problems. If it can't work there are fewer options. Taskforce on leakage, public health and environmental protection - work with experts and industry.
