It seems the press is still camped up there following Ted Kennedy's every move (I guess they didn't heed Kerry's request that the Kennedys be given their privacy):

Edward M. Kennedy admitted today he probably won’t sail in tomorrow’s Figawi regatta, the unofficial start of the Cape Cod sailing season.
Kennedy did head out to sail today after visiting with Sen. John Kerry at his Hyannisport home.
"It was good to see John. He’s been a good friend," the legendary lawmaker said as he walked along the pier towards his schooner, the Mya.
With his faithful canine companions, Sunny and Splash, and crew members, Kennedy shoved off around 2:45 pm.
Wearing shorts, a baseball cap and windbreaker, Kennedy quipped to the media as he walked along the pier, "You beginning to like it down here?" When asked if he’d take part in this weekend’s Figawi regatta, Kennedy said, "It’s unlikely."
Earlier, Kerry visited with Kennedy and his wife, Vicki, on the sprawling porch of their Cape Cod home. Kerry hugged Vicki and shook Kennedy’s hand before leaving.
It's actually a nice article BUT I don't think it's right that they don't give him some space. He seems to definitely be in good spirits, though.
