KERRYMAGIC
I had the day from he11 yesterday at work... 12 hour day....

grumble grumble grumble

Get off the freeway, almost home, the car right in front of me had
the original John Kerry for President bumpersticker on it. ( a very rare sighting in my neighborhood )

And whoosh - just like magic - the long day was gone, and I was smiling, with a new burst of energy.

And to top it off, before I went to bed, turned on CSpan, and there he was :)

In honor of those moments, I am coining a new phrase

KERRYMAGIC cuz in my opinion - he's got it!

1. I know JUST what you mean!
Sightings of JK or Kerry/Edwards bumperstickers are FAR from rare in my neighborhood, but every *single* time I see one, it makes me grin and lifts my spirits!

What a PERFECT picture to illustrate your new concept!!!

Let the KERRYMAGIC spread throughout the land! :loveya:

5. Bumper stickers
Not only do I see lots of Kerry bumper stickers, I've never seen a single car with a "I Read Kos" bumper sticker.

Therefore my unscientific survey shows that, despite all the Kerry bashing, Kerry still has more support than the Kos Klowns.

16. Oh same with me
There's this house in my neighborhood and one of their cars has a John Kerry campaign sticker on it and every time I pass by it I smile. :D I see them here and there when I'm traveling too.

3. I've felt the same - I love still seeing the Kerry stickers
and Kerry SAID to leave them on. (In Morristown, someone shouted out that they were proud to still have their stickers on their cars - he Keep them on and Thank you.)

That is a great picture - He's just so happy in this picture.

4. I've still got mine on my bumper
In my county I rarely if ever see another one, though. :(
On the plus side, it's getting more and more rare to see a */Darth one either. I've only seen one in the last week, and our county went Repub two-to-one.

6. I took off my Kerry-Edwards bumper sticker
and replaced it with a John Kerry 2008 sticker.

7. Ya had me worried!
I have the one that says:

I support our Veterans
I voted for one

Felt kinda funny one day when a guy in a white pickup truck pulled up next to me with his MARINES sticker next to his W sticker. He was messing with me a little bit, kept right next to me. I'm 5'1 and in a sportscar. It was a little wierd.

10. Me too. It freaks out the occasional person
who didn't know we weren't all ABB over on the left.

But somehow I still miss the K/E sticker. It was so recogizable. I'm still glad to see it.

The round Real Deal window sign is still in my rear window too.

said that. That's wonderful. I'm so glad my tattered original's still there.

12. When I came out of the grocery store this evening
a car was parked next to me with a Kerry/Edwards sticker on it. It was faded, but still hanging on. I really does do a heart good doesn't it?

17. Yep
I took mine off and have been meaning to fix my printer and buy some bumper sticker paper so I can print out my own and put them on my car but I haven't gotten around to it yet sadly. Hopefully during the holiday break. I still have my bumper sticker though. I'm planning on putting it on a wall in my room. And I still have on my dry erase board that a Kerry rally is on CSPAN. Ha.

13. I loooooove Kerry-magic.
Happens to me all the time. Those stickers are still a lift for me as well. Sometimes, just thinking about the progress we are making as Kerry supporters can provide me with an energy boost.

14. Sometimes you need your own "Kerrymagic" as an antidote to evil
Edited on Thu Dec-01-05 08:35 PM by beachmom
I was driving today, and an old Jeep was trying to get over, so I slowed down and waved him over, and I saw the word John Kerry on an unfamilar bumper sticker. As I drove closer I saw that it said "Vietnam Veterans Against John Kerry" and then there was a tatoo bumper sticker and another one that said "Conflict of Interest" kind of in the same lettering as some AA stickers. There was also a tattered POW/MIA flag, and as I said the car was a bit old and beat up. For some reason I couldn't hate the occupant -- maybe he's had a tough life to want to advertise such hate. Anyway, since I had my JK bumper sticker on (and I was behind him so I knew I was safe from him), I felt like it neutralized the other guy's bumper sticker. That's empowerment, my friends.

Edit: And I may also add that I received my two bumper stickers from Karynnj and Island Blue. That makes them even more powerful in good Karma!
