Remember that Voting related bill Kerry cosponsored with Obama?

It is brought up in a rant that someone posted in Election Reform (sort of bashing Dean, from what it looks like, which is also interesting).

The original article gives kudos to Obama for introducing it (S.1975) and says in effect, "let's get Boxer to stand with him!" No mention that it is already cosponsored by (and at this time ONLY cosponsored by) John Kerry.

Well, that is, until I posted my reply. ;-)

Back to the term project grind now for me. Enjoy...

They have been excellent in manipulating this issue to attack the Democrats in general and Kerry in particular. Cobb has seen that as his strategy to gain votes against the party, and it is not surprising that the OP blames Dean and forgets Kerry as the co-sponsor of the bill.

3. Well, I just realized that post violates the rules.

In my reading of the English language anyway.

They are promoting someone who is running on the Green ticket when there is a Dem in the race. Supposedly that's not allowed.

We'll see what happens.

4. That's true, they should be deleted.

I think a lot of people forget that this is 'Democratic Underground,' not 'Beat up onDemocrats Underground.' The greens should post at PDA where they belong.
