3. Same here - he very very nicely restates exactly
what Kerry's problem is with the policy. It's cool that he calls Kerry his brother and says that he speaks out of love for the soldiers. The genuine love that circle of friends have for Kerry is cool.

So, will McCain tell them to cool it????

7. He kicked ass on Bill Maher a few months ago
His calling for troops to withdraw on the show was a signal to me that JK wouldn't be far behind. JK's plan is different and they're not out until end of '06, but they're not that far apart.

Remember that passage in Tour of Duty when Cleland gave Kerry his family bible, and Kerry was so moved? There really is a bond between those two. Cleland is the friend we all wanted McCain to be.
