Ahm, about those pics

Okay, I have put this off long enough, time to take my lumps for this one.

I don't actually have a lot of pictures to share. I was really, really busy this weekend and I just didn't have time to take pictures. (Yeah, I know I promised, but I had no idea that this was going to be so, ahm, involving.) I have 12 pics. 6 of them are useless and blurry. One, I posted and that was a risky pic to take as I was on the stage and it is strange to take a pic of someone who is reading a speech right next to you. (I felt like I was interrupting or something.)

I had my camera with me on our walks. But I was also directing traffic and trying to think of what to say about the 'old stuff' we were looking at and trying to make sure everyone could hear and that we avoided Mother Nature's ill-timed pitfalls. (Gawd it was so treacherous to be out and about. There were falling icicles everywhere and really dangerous footpaths. And that Hill walk, OMG! Thank goodness no one fell on that. That was a minor miracle.)

I was also deathly afraid I was going to miss a phone call about an organizing thing or from one of our visitors and I was just really kind of busy. I have two pics of the late night event, but they have other people in them and I haven't asked permission. Plus, these are 'down-time' pics. They were not meant to wind up somewhere where they could be misinterpreted by the mean people. I am going to crop that pic and see if I can make it work. (Probably, it needs some effort.)

So, I know you all crave pics, but I can't help you. I was so 'in the moment' all weekend that I just didn't have time to take pics. Mea culpa.

And the folks who were there can decide whether they are appropriate or not.

They are in the Rox_pics sub-album. None of them have JK in them, but they are of members of this group. They are from our travels around Beacon Hill, the official party, and the pub. Can youse guys go over there and tell me which ones you object to me posting? And would it make a difference if I promised not to identify who is who in the pic? There are some that include people who have said that they don't want their pics posted. So unless I get the ok from everyone in the pic, I won't post them.

Not because I'm in the witness protection program and need to concel my identity or anything, but just because I don't like photos of myself period. Yikes!

I'm not sure there are words to describe the wonderfulness of this photo.

The person JK is talking to is from our group, but I managed to catch them in mid-eye blink and it is not so flattering. So I cut the pic in half. (Ah, for the want of half a second, I would have had a truly great pic to give to someone. Sigh!)
