Edited on Sat Dec-31-05 02:03 PM by saracat
May we all have a prosperous and Kerry New Year. I love you each and everyone!
I have never been so glad to see a year and 2005 really sucked! May 2006 bring the answer to all our prayers!

29. Excellent Karen
My Cong. is having his Iraq forum on Thursday. My husband and I will be going (and I hope that Rox can make it as well.) My husband plans on asking about impeachment. (That man makes me look like a shrinking violent. Sigh!)

5. Happy New Year, Kerrycrats and lurkers too!
I'm glad to see the end of 2005 too.

We know 2006 will be better because we will see more Dems elected this year! Yay!!!

(now get those year-end contributions in! Preferably via KAP!)

Though it was a rough year, I want to give kudos to seito for telling me at the start of 2005 to keep my chin up for a Kerry new year (when I used to post in the election results I believe thread), and she was right.

May 2006 bring hope and optimism for truths to be revealed.

Kerry on and Happy New Year! :patriot:

10. I expect a review!
And not just how hot Clooney is.
Want to see that and Syriana.
But in my life, I end up seeing things like
The Family Stone. Very weird movie. Don't bother.

11. Happy New Year everyone!
My prediction for the New Year -
Dems take over the House, and get a slight lead in the Senate.

16. it was good
It shows how much guts it takes to stand up to power--in this case Joe McCarthy himself. The movie went by so fast--must have been the tension! I have new respect for that kind of journalist.
All the actors were good. I see it's up for 4 Golden Globes.

9. Happy New Year everyone!
Thank you all for being here, for helping to make a bad situation bearable and for always watching John Kerry's back. (Okay, and his front and every angle in between. )

The highlight of the year (for me anyway) was definitely December 11 in Boston, MA. Thanks to everyone in this group who made that day possible! It was epic for sure!

Tomorrow is the start of the mythical 2006. Let's hope it's The Year of the Donkey! :kick:

For everyone going out tonight - STAY SAFE!

21. It was amazing cuz of all of you!
That was something, wasn't it. I knew when people said they were coming to Boston for that fundraiser that it was a going to be good. I had no idea how great it would turn out to be. And seeing THK & JK was only part of it. You guys just rock!

Here's to meeting the rest of you some day in person! Dear Lord in heaven, you have no idea how much fun it is to get all these Kerrycrats together! We are quite a group of characters!

I am already planning my next 'meetup.' I'm thinking somewhere in Western Pennsylvania sometime in late summer or early fall. Cuz Santorum has to go and it would be my honor to meet up with GV and whoever else can make it there and kick some Rethug butt! That will be wonderful. (We should find ut when Sen. Kerry will be in PA doing rallies for Casey and attend. That would be great!)

22. Everyone should sign up for Casey's e-mails.
I would be thrilled to host you guys here in Pittsburgh. And I'm sure Mr Casey would love to list our group among his supporters.
Wisteria is here, too. We'll have a blast. And PA is gorgeous in the fall. We're only an hour or so from the mountains, and the scenery is stunning.
We should let Teresa know.
Woo Hoo!!! Casey for PA and all you guys, too!!!

24. A PA meet-up would be groovy!
That time of year is a bit difficult for me because of my work schedule, but I might be able to make it. Hell, I've never helped to oust a majorleagueasshole Senator before - it's probably something everyone should do at least once in their lifetime!

I'm also ready for a return trip to Boston by the way. :)

25. Well, there will probably be another B-Day party next year.
Though I would highly recommend seeing Boston when it is not freezing out and full of yucky slush. (Though, at the end, who really cared. We had such a good time.)

You are welcome back anytime. It was a pleasure and an honor to help with that event in my small way.

26. What GV said...
and I will be happy to host the Kerrycrat/CaseyCrat PA meetup on the East side of PA. :-)

(Anyone look at our Frappr map lately? We should be able to get a few quasi-locals for a Philly area meetup.)

That would be very doable in a car for me. Only seven hours or so.
