I think in the future, unless someone repeats a real lie or RW talking point about Kerry, we should let it slide. If all someone does is say "No Kerry, no way", even in some condescending, rude manner, we should just ignore it.

Replying to them only gives these naysayers the opportunity to drag things out in those huge subthreads and spew more of their crap about how nobody is good enough except their pet candidate and about how Barbra Boxer is a fascist or whatever the hell was going on in that thread.

Just think of it this way, there are 86,000+ registered DU'ers, now the percentage that respond to these types of posts good or bad is like a fraction of 1%. But the percentage reading the responses is so much bigger, and you have to include those (lurkers) that aren't even registered. To leave untruths and crap about John Kerry out there with no debunking is like saying yep thats right. We can't allow that, and believe me facts and truths do speak volumes. Because in the end, when people get tired of the crap, you'll see more and more debunking and as we have seen lately new people posting truth about John Kerry.
