1. is this about the one that wants to run against Kerry for Senate ?
i think it's more of an attempt to start raising money again.

but they got a lot of money for the presidential election because it was competitive. republicans aren't going to give them money for a massachusettes race since they can't win that one. if they could they would have tried before (which they kind of did) but Kerry is a safe seat now and will continue being re-elected there as long as he wants.

unless Kerry runs for national office again those smear boat guys are going to go the way of paula jones, linda tripp and the others who were paid by right wingers to try to bring down Clinton. even if he runs for national office again they wont be very effective since they weren't very effective this time. it was still a very close race and 60 thousand vote difference in ohio would have given Kerry victory.

4. The Nixon shill et al promised to stay around.
The SBVFT (may God punish them) have established some sort of political consulting firm or some other debris on the shores of life. I think they have an office (or is it an orifice?) in northern Virginia.

But they obviously are filled with hubris and the characteristic sore winner mind-set of the Bush camp. I do think we need to take action -- and harsh action, at that -- against these Bush and Nixon shills.

6. 80-19%
That was the last unopposed election.

This would also amount to unopposed.

7. haha
That guy's a total dumbass if he thinks he can win. Man, even if it wasn't against a popular incumbent, does he really think his bigotry is a plus?

9. It would be amusing to watch him run, but...
Kerry's up for reelection in '08, correct? According to all I've read on the subject, he still wants to be president and would in all probability run again. Could he be on the ticket for both seats at the same time? (I'm thinking he could. IIRC, in 2000 Lieberman ran for VP and Senator both.)

Don't get me wrong--I'm not worried in the least about this guy; he has less of a chance than Alan Keyes did. But if Kerry's running another national campaign but is also on the ticket for his Senate seat (as a backup), he would not be doing much campaigning for his Senate seat. Throw in this SOB running against him, able to say pretty much what he wants because it is not a competitive race, and... well. Not a pretty picture.

All I'm saying is that this little scheme probably shouldn't be dismissed altogether. There is a huge ego/vengeance component, but it looks like he may be being used as a pawn by more powerful people in the GOP.

12. Massholes actually know that Kerry served
honorably. It came up in 1984 when he first ran for the Senate and no less than John McCain (still a lowly Rep.) came to Beantown to campaign against Kerry. Didn't work. (Although Kerry tried to ban all mention of Vietnam from that race. Long story.) It came up again in 1996 and Hoffman stood with Kerry (Lying rat bastard war criminal.)

We like John Kerry. I'm telling ya for that last time, if Bill Weld couldn't take out Kerry, it can't be done. Period. End of Story. Senator for Life. Especially since so many people are feeling that he got unfairly rammed by the Rethugs. There is a lot of deep sympathy for Kerry around here, especially since he showed up at the confirmation hearings and waaaay, waaay, outwonked Condi. (hehehehehehe You can't outwonk our John. Stupid necon princess of the right. He is the Master of the artform.) We actually like and respect wicked smaht people around here, and our John is wicked, wicked smaht.

I love my Senator. Wonky people rule!

13. AMEN SISTER!!
Tell it like it is! You go girl!

Listen up everyone I'm not a masshole but hell by rights and beliefs I should have been. Put it this way when I finally get moved there I don't think I will have a problem talking their language so to speak in fact I will fit right in. Anyhow what Tay Tay just said about if Weld couldn't beat Kerry by hell no one can is exactlly right. You would have had to kept up with that race or live there to understand it fully but I'm telling you it is a fact! Weld was the best competitor that Kerry has ever had. And when he beat Weld the respect and love for Mr.John Kerry grew that much stronger. And I don't give a damn what you read in the papers about the man, what you hear in the media about the man, or what the small majority of dumbass repukes including that shit for brains governor have to say about the man he is going no where until he is damn good and ready to go! That is a fact and you can take it to the bank!

Kerry is just like Kennedy to Massholes they know they have two of the greatest statesmen there ever was and they are sure as hell not about to get rid of them. There have been many that have made the statement that the only thing good that came out of this past election is that they still have Kerry as their senator fighting for them so they don't have to worry about trying to find one to take his place. Massholes know that once Kerry or Kennedy retire or become president that they will never find another that will ever truly take the place of either one of these men. That makes a difference and again they are going no where until they are ready to go. You know when you have a package deal as great as these two men you don't get rid of it.

11. OMG These Bastards Again
These people are truly the biggest shit for brains, lying, bigoted bastards around. I will be living in Massachusetts by the time this race rolls around and hell it will be great. Hell who knows I might keep the egg factories in business during that time because I will have plenty on hand but I would make sure to put the damn things outside and let them rot like hell so they would be ready to be fired off like a damn machine gun. I say "BRING IT ON YOU SORRY SHIT FOR BRAINS ASS WIPE!"- WARNING: You come to our territory and enter at your own risk!
