The Center for Public Integrity
lists the swift boat liars' donors, including:

31. U.S. Air Force $17,150
37. U.S. Department of Transportation $10,400

3. It has to be.
I think maybe those are the employers of the donors? Regardless, I will write to the Center for Public Integrity and ask them to check it out. If it's an error, they should correct it. If not, WTF!!!
There's also the IRS website for 527s, but it's really tough to find anything. I'll give it a quick look-see, though.
If one dime of my tax dollars went to fund the liars, I'm going to be pissed.
Here's the IRS site, in case you have time to check it out.

6. I hope you're right.
I sure as hell hope these are the employers of donors but I don't know though. A quick look at who who donated and it's obvious that this is not merely a bunch of pissed off Vietnam vets.

Among others you've got oil & natural gas represented here, as well as big real estate, chemical/petrochemical manufacturing, the Yancey Brothers Co. which sells heavy road machinery (think Caterpillar), the Gulf Coast Asphalt Co. and the US Dept. of Transportation which both no doubt use heavy road machinery and the Daniels Manufacturing Corp. which develops "tool systems & technology for Aerospace, Military & telecommunications industries" and the US Airforce which more than likely does business with the Daniels Manufacturing Corp. Most of these donors probably didn't give two shits about what John Kerry did or did not do in Vietnam - they only cared about what */Cheney could do for them.

I pisses me off that the media couldn't take two seconds to investigate any of this or if they did, they didn't bother to inform us about it.

And you're right GV, not one dime of my tax dollars better have gone to help fund the liars via either the AF or DOT.

7. I've asked the Center for Public Integrity
to investigate and correct if there's an error. Let's see what happens.
No federal agency should be listed as a donor to this group.
