I'm still learning to use the camera it's a nikon D70. Of course the framing could be better too, still working on composition too.

1. Welcome to our group...
Come here often, and you'll learn a lot, guaranteed. Have you considered entering our June photo contest? The topic is "People Pictures - Showing Their Personality," or something like that. I'm the host this month and will start taking entries in about a week or so.

3. Welcome!

I like the picture of the wolves. Were these from a zoo?

I know you'll have fun with the D70. I certainly like mine. I haven't had mine for too long, either. I find that I spend as much time concentrating on exposure as I do thinking about the composition. It seems to make a big difference.

5. I'm enjoying but there is a small learning curb
You can go on auto pilot which is nice, but i'm still trying to learn the camera.

The place I shot these is a small wildlife preserve in Pa it's also a petting zoo. These guys were also part of the fun

I still felt a few were a little soft. I can't tell if that is my fault with the focus or perhaps it was the lens. I need to play with it some more of figure our the mechanics

6. I love the camel
The D70 is a great camera. What lens are you using? I have a D100 with a 28-200 zoom and a 60mm micro. I've had it for three years now, and still learning what it can do.

And welcome to the group.

:hi:
