CALLING BABYLON SISTER!
Your Tiny Dancer seems to be a small picture on a very big file and is making poll #1 hard to view in the Lounge. Is there any way you can fix that?

1. Oops, my apologies, Blue_In_AK.
I scanned it from a pic. If someone can tell me how to shrink it, I'd be happy to do so. I don't quite have the hang of this computer stuff.

2. I saved the pic to my hard drive & cropped it:


If you save this version to your computer then go to your Photobucket account, delete the existing version and upload this one, that should work.

4. Have you uploaded the cropped version yet?
I'm not seeing your pic at all now. You have to make sure you upload it to Photobucket with the same filename you originally used, or your link won't work.

6. Not so much. Now her pic isn't showing up at all.
I'm not sure if she's uploaded the cropped version or not. If she has, to the same Photobucket album and with the same file name, it should show up.

8. The problem now is the prelim thread can't be edited
It contains the link to her Photobucket album. I can only assume something went wrong with the upload. I've sent her a PM to see if I can get more info.

Still haven't heard back from her, but asked her to contact me as soon as she can. I'd like to get Blue's opinion on this. I'm chained to the computer for the afternoon so I'll keep checking back.

sites by our governor. He won't let state workers read anything other than right wing propaganda.

It looked fine - the entire post was just a little wide because of ITF's photo, but it was acceptable.

She seems to have deleted the original but not uploaded the cropped one to replace it. So the link is now pointing to nothing.

15. It's very weird...
Sometimes I see it (the big version) and sometimes there's nothing there but, sorry, the PhotoBucket link is broken, or whatever it says. The smaller one is completely not there. Ack. I asked the voters, if they can't see it, to wait until we get this issue resolved. It's only fair.

16. I think if you were seeing the big version, the page is probably cached
in your browser.

Three scenarios I can think of:
1) Her upload of the cropped version was unsuccessful.
2) She uploaded the revision under a different filename.
or 3) She may have more than one Photobucket album and didn't upload it to the one she originally used.

I sent her a PM to try to get more info and hopefully walk her through the process again. Haven't heard back yet.

What do you think of alfredo's idea of putting her pic in a response to the thread as an interim measure? Would people notice it? Maybe an eyecatching title to the response like BUSH RESIGNS - AND HERE'S PIC 7 would draw people's attention?

She'd reloaded the pic under a different filename. She's now changed it back to the original, and VOILA, it's showing up again.
