You should edit the thread titles to indicate poll 1 & 2 or round 1 & 2. People might assume they've already voted in one when they've only voted in the other, despite the links you've provided.

can you post a link in the lounge and link it to your post so we can keep it kicked too? They hunted the group down to complain last month. :evilgrin:

The first one went up (relatively) easily but every time I tried to post the 2nd one I would get an error message- something about 'you posted in two windows or you typed in two posts'..and it would NOT let me post the 2nd one. And that FREAKIN error message was so smug. It kept rubbing it in my face. "you WILL have to completely totally re do this. So, FU'
Somebody really should talk to Skinner about that one, it has a bad attitude.

I was copying and pasting -should have been doing all that somewhere else, I assume- not between the two polls themselves. Which is what I finally figured out after re doing the 2nd poll 3 TIMES.

I 'misunderestimated' my exhaustion level at that time of night. It was not pretty, by the time I finished everyone in the house was staying far, far away from me. When I finally went to bed the Windshield Washer Guzzler haunted me all night. I was quite concerned about those polls this morning- nice relief to see your comment and know it was all ok.

I did forget about numbering them Thing 1 and Thing 2, Blue. I was doing so much copying and pasting from Kelly's blurbs from last month's contests that I must have lost a sentence ot two. And, yes, I was sleeping and now it is too late to edit, isn't it? Hopefully, everyone can use the link in one poll to find the other poll.

I wish I could have done all this on a more normal ( for the contests) time frame. (This is a crazy week for me- not even factoring in the Holiday Hoopla!- just mucho family obligations) The entire thing has been so compressed.

I was just concerned that one might have gotten lost out in cyberspace somewhere, but then when I checked back, there it was. I just jumped the gun a bit. :yourock:

The two photos (of course mine is one of them...) hosted on smugmug are not currently visible. And to think I decided to use smugmug to start out this time because it was more stable than the private server I usually use!

That two of the photos are unavailable. I will wait until I can see them before I vote.

I'm seeing some beautiful and artistic photos up there. Very nice. Not the cliche' nature scenes. Even the snow on the trees scene is very nice and not cliche.

I remembered the contest and did check in as people were entering but I didn't feel I had anything suitable to enter. I think others here felt the same way.

I'm still getting a lot out of the contest just looking and voting!
