My Kind of January
Nearly 70 degrees here today!!

My older daughter *surprised* me and walked in the door last night- from San Francisco! I must really be slipping- I NEVER get taken by surprises. I was SHOCKED!. Dh and younger dd picked her up at the airport- I thought they were in other places, doing other things. I am *Still* shocked.
So was the dog:

We took advantage of the weather and visited Cape May Point and The Concrete Ship. Found Cape May diamonds, too.

And, played more with the new camera, of course. Finally have a HUGE card:

1. Very nice photos, Jhain...
Wow, 70 degrees! It's in the teens here and snowing all day, but I'm really happy about that because we've been lacking.

I love the pictures of the little agates or whatever they are on the beach. There's a beach I used to go to in Northern California years ago that had sand like this, and I loved it. Each grain is like a little jewel.

2. 70 degrees!
I am envious. I nearly threw a tantrum in Costco today because they were out of Presto Logs. I did buy some new fleece jammies, though.

It's in the 40s here and it might as well be 40 below for all I care. The sun did come out today so I shouldn't complain that much.

Nice pictures. The Cape May Diamonds are stunning. :-)

Thank you for sharing your day with us, jhain. That last picture - simply radiates "happy" - can't help but smile when I look at it.

8. What a nice surprise for you
Tell her to stay there. The weather is still crappy out here.

And out here on the left coast, we calls those little puppies moonstones.
